The laundry has been swishing and whirring all morning, and I have been working to restore some sort of order around here... Isn't that the way it always is after a vacation? (or most weekends in general!) We had a wonderful "week-in-the-woods" last week. It was truly a time of thankfulness for our family. I'll save all my musings and pictures for another post, but since this is a food-related post, I'll share a couple of pictures of how we ate last week:
This is a yummy beef stew cooking over the fire, my cute husband's concoction (oh, it was so good!)
As you can probably tell, it was a good week of eating for us last week, not counting our big thanksgiving meal! Here's what we've got in store this week:
And here is the cook himself (with his sous-chef by his side) making steaks, baked potatoes and garlic bread. I can smell it just looking at it!

Lunch: YOYO ("You're on your own"... Mom's got her head in the washing machine...)
Dinner: crock pot bbq chicken, green beans, garlic mashed potatoes, rolls
Tuesday~
Lunch: stir fry
Wednesday~
Lunch: chunky chicken salad sandwiches on ciabatta rolls, chips
Dinner: whole wheat spaghetti, salad, bread sticks
Thursday~
Lunch: make-your-own pizza
Dinner: Leftovers
Friday~
Lunch: leftover lunch
Dinner: baked potato soup, salad, hot whole wheat rolls
