A Busy Day Ahead?

"If I am going to have a busy day, I spend one hour with the Lord. If I am going to have a very busy day, I spend two hours with the Lord."

Well, I guess then I should be getting up really early to get those two hours in.........
I'm slowly getting there- working back to getting up at 5am....that still leaves me only an hour during school time....I don't know if I can do 4 am.........do they have to be consecutive hours? Cause I might can get another hour in during nap time in the afternoons? =)

What does it mean when you sense the need for three or four hours? :)

What a beautiful quote and reminder of our need to spend time EVERYDAY with the Lord!

The Difference
I got up early one morning and rushed right into the day;
I had so much to accomplish that I didn't take time to pray.

Problems just tumbled about me, and heavier came each task,
"Why doesn't God help me?" I wondered. He answered, "You didn't ask."

I wanted to see joy and beauty, but the day toiled on gray and bleak;
I wondered why God didn't show me--He said, "But you didn't seek,"

I tried to come into God's presence; I used all my keys at the lock,
God gently and lovingly chided, "My child, you didn't knock."

I woke up early this morning, and paused before entering the day;
I had so much to accomplish that I had to take time to pray.

Isn't this the truth?!? I am looking forward to resuming a "normal" quiet time schedule upon returning home. Getting up here in our tiny house seems to wake everyone else up. So, my quiet times now are in my bed (which often tempts me to sleep way too late!). Great quote, Cyndi!
