Y'all.
It was SO good! I wished for you so many times yesterday!
There was a sweet young woman who sat in front of me who started crying on the first downbeat of the first praise song and cried all the way through all three sessions of Beth. (Oh my WORD that has been me before!) She had friends with her and didn't need anyone else hovering or patting on her, but boy I prayed for her the whole day, and for all the women (150,000!) who were attending all over the country. Everybody brings a story with them. Whoa, what a powerful time.
Her message was wonderful, though it was hard to hear her... you know she's kind of quiet and soft spoken. (LOL... just kidding!) Her focus scriptures were Psalm 18 and Psalm 40. I wish I had lots of notes to share, but I really just listened and absorbed... not a lot of writing (unusual for this voracious note-taker!) If you haven't read the book, Get Out of That Pit, I encourage you to pick it up. There are lots of women posting their reactions to the conference at the LPM blog as well. I'm heading over there myself to see what everyone thought.
For now, just so we can feel like we were there together, click "play" below, crank the volume, and dance with me! Along with Beth, I pray that all of us would be "ruined for anything else but complete liberty!"

If you lived in the northwest, I'd say the woman near you was me...I kept crying off and on. There's some things that God wants to heal deep inside of me.
But I was taken aback by personality and voice a bit...I never heard her speak, and by her photos, I pictured her refined and soft-spoken. LOL
But God used her to speak some incredible things.

I am going to have to pick up that book. Before I started blogging I had never heard of Beth Moore but have heard nothing but good things. I'm glad you guys were able to get so much out of that simulcast.
I am so jealous (I know - not good :-) ). I can't believe not one church in this huge city was hosting the simulcast. I will just have to enjoy it all vicariously I guess.
I just know you were blessed, blessed, blessed. God is using her in a mighty way.

Just want you to know that I danced with you to the music!! See, even 69 year old grandmothers aren't too old to dance before our God. Just think of the dancing we'll be doing in heaven. WOW!!!!
Ok, it's about time I post a comment (one-handed, as I sit and nurse my 8-mo-old on the couch)... I'm a new blogger, and I've been visiting both your blogs the past month and a half, which also happened to be the most difficult season for me in my young homeschooling career. (I have a new homeschoolblogger site -- homeschoolblogger.com/heartworkingmom -- and an even newer blogspot with hardly anything on it.) Can't tell you enough - for lack of time and space -- just how much the Lord has used your blogs to encourage, bless and inspire me (and even my husband). You've introduced me to Kay Arthur, music of Travis Cottrell, opened my eyes to the myths homeschooling moms believe (I believed so many of them!), etc etc. Three nights ago, I signed up to attend a Beth Moore conference taking place in my area two weekends from today, largely in part from one of your older posts (from 2006 I think!). All this to say, thank you so much for allowing the Lord to use you and for sharing all that you do. You have no idea how much freedom I've experienced from the liberating truths and insights you've shared! I'm looking forward to an awesome time of worship and the word at Beth Moore's Deeper Still conference in less than 2 weeks! God bless you.
I just started reading this book last week and I am really enjoying it! It is a much simplier style than what Beth usually writes....I was recently doing her Believing God study...and she is quite a compelling speaker...however, I so enjoy this simplier style.
