Commercials

Being sick is no reason to neglect using one's time wisely. With that in mind, I have now watched every commercial that aired during the Super Bowl and I have chosen my favorite:

Speaking of commercials, all of these daytime commercials have inspired me. I'm seriously considering attending ITT Tech or possibly pursuing a rewarding career in the automotive industry. I've also jotted down a few numbers of some law firms, in case I suspect I caught this virus due to someone else's negligence...

(Okay, I need to just put down the remote and step away slowly...)

I'm sorry you don't feel well. I'll pray for you. say this five times on the hour, every hour: "I will not order kitchen gadgets, though they may be advertised every ten minutes & I cannot live without that super-duper sandwich grill; I will not sign up for a cosmotology class, for it will not change my life; I will not, I will not, I will not."

Those bunny and gerbil (or whatever he is) Blockbuster commercials crack me up! I hadn't seen this one because the game was into the 4th quarter before we realized that on Canadian TV we don't get those commercials. We got our Canadian commercials. So by the time we switched to a US network they were basically done. Is there somewhere on the net to watch them?

Sorry you're not feeling well.

I should've put a link in my post... sorry.

You can watch them at

We are always at church for Awana (unless the Cowboys are in the SB!) so every year I find the commercials and watch them all, LOL.

That was a cute one. For the most part I was rather underwhelmed. I always look forward to the commercials, but recently they have let me down.
I know what you mean about the afternoon ads on tv. I immediately picture some fat guy in his ratty old recliner in his tee shirt drinking lots of beer while eating lots of chips - and not working:)

Your too funny. Mom and I were talking on the phone last night about the Blockbuster ad and we started giggling all over again. But I do have say (even if it was an older commercia), I laughed my hiney off on the one where the waitress called Charles Barkley a grandfather. I am from Arizona, Charles Barkley is big there maybe that is why it struck me so funny.

My Systematic Theology class starts tonight, I am so excied. The book looks like a text book; small print, big words. Oh but girl just from reading one chapter my brain is already swirling....=)
