It's Not About Me

"It's not about me" says it all! If we could think these thoughts every day I wonder how differently our days would be ordered?

I like that quote, so very, very true. I think most of my pity parties start with that lie...how self-absorbed can I get?!

thanks for sharing

That is absolutely profound. He doesn't just whisper it in my ear - he shouts it. I must learn to turn a deaf ear to him.

Isn't that the truth! We need to only listen to what God thinks of us!

Great quote - When we hear that our deceitful hearts really start to worry. Along those lines, I've been telling friends for years, "I know you think it's important that others think well of you. However, the more important question is, 'what does God think / know of me?'"

What a great quote!

I did your celebrity thing too and had to reject the first attempt...apparently I look 70% like Patrick Swayze...that does wonders for this mom's self-esteem. I guess I shouldn't worry about what other people think of me looking like a has been 80s movie star...

I love your blog.
